Humax HDR Fox T2
Just got one yesterday from currys using 5% off code (Offer ends Wednesday 1 September at 23:59)

Currys Price £299 (Free delivery)
-5% code £285

Pros: Good picture, easy to use, good features.
Universal remote can control TV DVD & Audio using codes in the manual.

Cons: No picture in picture like old models, HD channel sound is too low compared to SD channel sound, Display on front of box is too dim and hard to read.
HDMI doesn't switch TV to AV channel like a scart lead does.
Not much to watch on HD channels yet.

Before you buy, make sure you can get HD at your post code

Its a pain finding programmes to record currently do it by roving through the programme displays. Cant understand why the Genre listings dont include BBC1 BBC2 and ITV. Are my settings wrong?

The prices are correct if you use the voucher codes advertised under the product descriptions.

Use code XX829 to get 10% OFF for new customers opening a Very account.

Not too sure what you mean by Comet advertised at £284 as it is 290.99 and has been for some time now.

Use code 15POUND for £15 off all orders over £299 at Currys.

Vouchers have expiry dates but were correct as of 3rd November 2010

Hope this helps.
