Well Maplin seem to have a different answer every minute. Just phoned and at the start of the call it was 150 on 23rd, 80 on 30th and 250 on Feb 2nd but seems screen updated during the call and some due on 22nd! Only seems to be one person who can check where you are on the list (apparently I'm 254th which doesn't tally with other figures given as I only ordered on Jan 13th). It's a good price with the voucher but have severe doubts about when/if they'll deliver!

I was advised as being 71st on the Maplin list a while back (last week when they got stock in), with my back order dating to 7th January. I was also told I'd get mine this week.
Just called Maplin now and spoke to Mel for an update, and confirmed that a large delivery is coming in on Friday 23rd, but will be dispatching units on Monday, so at least another week before receiving it. On Saturday, John at maplin advised that stock was coming in on 21st!!!

I reckon Maplin are applying a first in last out approach to their back orders otherwise how can I be 495th when I ordered on the 8th...? Is it just me or are they incompetent?
