Ordered my Humax 8 days ago(stock due in 7 days on site?) from Maplin and been on the phone asking where it is. They got 70 in today, but mine isn't one of these. Getting 480 in on Friday and mine is one of these! Might be some spare ones for pre-ordering + £15 off if you spend over £200 and sign up for email offers. Sign up 1st to get voucher code.

Another call to Maplin has revealed that I'm actually 56th on the list (it took her 10 mins to read through 59 screens of back orders to find me) compared to the 495th I was told yesterday (which I was told in an instant so was obviously made up). As such I'll be getting mine Friday... I hope!

Argos have got more stock by the way, you can select delivery for this Friday.
I would avoid maplin, I am so glad I cancelled as I my box from comet arrived yesterday.
Stock is becoming easier to get each day. So you probably won't have to wait long, if you are lucky you may get one today!

Had a quick webchat with Comet to find out why is it's £5.95 for Standard Delivery that should take 1-5 days are they quoting 27th as earliest delivery date. Answer - we don't have any online stock at the moment but have a large batch due in on the 23rd....
