Just spoke to Maplin again, despite being told on Monday they were getting 600 in yesterday and we would definitely get our box by Friday, they are now saying they did not get any yesterday. 160 due tomorrow and 70 on 30th January. Apparantly we are 189th in queue but who knows as you get a different answer each time you call. Wish I had ordered from Co-op.

Maplin are driving my crazy. Their website now says it's in stock and yet my pre-order still hasn't been fulfilled. I've created a dummy account and managed to put one in my basket without it saying "out of stock". What are they playing at...

The Maplin site flickered with stock for at least 10 minutes this afternoon

Ordered from Currys on Tuesday at 1230 and they have confirmed dispatch today at 1800 also they sent my sales receipt,

Mine arrived today from Comet(a day late thanks to Parcelfarce who sent it to Newcastle instead of Norwich!)

It's everything we hoped for - well worth the hassle to get hold of.

Just phoned Maplin. Been assured that they will be satisfying back-orders first and not shipping straight to new orders (they said that last time I believe!)
70 yesterday, 150 in today, as I was number 254 on Tuesday I'm not going to hold my breath! Next scheduled delivery 70 on January 30th.

I'm really peeved off with Maplin. My order was placed on 7th January, I was told 71 in the queue, and still no sign of it, or confirmation of the delivery. The order confirmation had come through at th etime of ordering, but said the item was out of stock.

Having just received an alert email and going on their site, I have placed another order, with another voucher, and I received a confirmation of the order, and guess what, it does NOT say that the item is out of stock or on back order!!!!

What the hell are they playing at??? I wonder which one will come through!!!

Is there anyone at Maplin who is keeping control of this item and making sure that orders are dealt with in proper sequence??
