Have been into Argos site and reserved Foxsat HDR for delivery to Eastleigh Store for Wednesday collection. Have a back order with Maplin, will leave until Tuesday to cancel as cheaper.

Got mine today from john lewis great price £292.00+2 year warranty had to wait 2 weeks but up and running within half hour, getting used to new remote not having any probs with it

Finally managed to get an order through with Maplin, and it has now been despatched. Yippee!

Thanks to the Admins of this site; it's been an excellent service for me. I'll be studying the manual now to be ready for it's arrival.

Got an alert from you on Thursday saying that Maplins had them in stock. I ordered one immediately and it arrived Friday afternoon. Today (Saturday) it's up and running and does all that it's supposed to! Thank you for your help.

My back-order from Maplins is on its way, I rang on Wednesday and was told I was number 90 on the list. Confirmation email and tracking number arrived Friday, delivery expected either today or Monday. I found Maplins to be reasonably honest in their predictions, though sometimes a little confusing.

Just an FYI for all of you waiting for the HDR. I had an e-mail from Humax about stock in the UK:

"We are shipping 11,000 units into the country during Jan, and there will be a further 15,000 units to follow in Feb."

Looks like the backlog will clear very shortly.
