excellent site getting my box tommorrow only one thing delivery was meant to be free but i got charged £5.82 they told me that item was not,but on there web site it definately said free. get it some where it is also cheaper and free delivery.

Ordered off Comet last week - paid and selected delivery time all good - go to order tracking and says 'order not yet accepted' WHOAAAAAAA!- i paid and you gave me delivery slots.
Rang up and woman says oh no stock did you not get an email = NO DIDN'T
Oh dear she says 'shall i refund you'
Yes says i
'OK' says she 'that'll be refunded within 3-5 working days'

Comet took my money last week and promised delivery tomorrow (Tus10th) Checked today and they never had any. No i have my money back but htey where not going to tell me they had none!

Excellent website, I've reserved mine at John Lewis as I'm not in a great hurry- my Sky contract runs out in a month. Many thanks.

just got a phone call from JL to say my box will be with me frid 13th my lucky day .

Until this morning I was looking forward to tomorrow! - lucky I checked on the tracking site otherwise I could have stayed in all day tomorrow just waiting for Comet

Don't take the prices shown for Ebay on the retailers list here face value. Check them out to make sure! I've just beaten the back-order blues, picking up a brand new unit on Ebay for £292.00 + £7.50 P&P on "Buy now". Okay, it's £7.50 dearer than John Lewis but hey, it'll be delivered tomorrow! :-)

Placed order at Comet 31/1/09 with delivery date 9/2 (today). Checked and they can't find my order on the system. Day off work, Sky sub runs out next week. Nice one Comet.

Be interesting how many people have paid Comet when they clearly have no intention of supplying on delivery date
My advice to anyone taking time off for an expected delivery from Comet is to track delivery on their site, if its positive all well and good but if you get:
'Your order is currently being processed. We will send you confirmation by email when your order has been accepted and a delivery slot has been agreed. You will then be able to track your order online'

Then ring up and query it because you won't be getting a delivery when you thought you would - Someone should be smacking Comet's ass for this taking money and wasting peoples time - i could have ordered elsewhere but now got to wait 3-5 days to get my money back
