Before I found this site I had resigned myself to waiting months for a Humax PVR. Today I received one from Martin Dawes, I only ordered it on 4th Feb. Many thanks for a brilliant site.

Thank you I now have my HDR. I pre-ordered from comet and when their stock came in they phoned and I picked it up.Not installed yet as I have to put in the second cable from the sat dish.
I already use your Foxsat box so I know the quality I can expect.

Pleased that I cancelled my order with Comet which was due to be deliverd this friday. Argos are supposed to be delivering my PVR tomorrow, fingers crossed!!!

I too was totally dispondant that I couldn't get a this PVR since comet and everybody had sold out. But decided today that these big boys can't be the only people to have these box's so I started ring around.

Richer Sounds have them in stock as I phoned up the branch in Liverpool st, and they had 2 in stock. So of course I rushed straight down there and picked mine up and its currently sitting under my TV as I type. Brilliant box.
So for the lucky person, theres one left at Richer Sounds Liverpool st.
But who knows there maybe more in the other stores.
If not, try a few other smaller retailers. You never know who's got a box just sitting there.

waited in all day 9th feb for comet to deliver no delivery.phoned customer services said item delivered and no one in, lies,after a long argument, on national rate by the way,i got the answer that i would get it thursday,so they never tried to deliver,i immediately cancelled and asked for a refundwhich i am getting,so beware with comet,wait for argos,cheaper.

Thanks for stock alerts - mine has now arrived - Sky subscription gone forever and very pleased with the Humax so far.

Just found out that my box has been delivered by Argos today, so please that I cancelled my comet order a few days ago. Can't wait to get home and set it up!! Thanks for the alerts service.
