Paul i wouldn't worry about the front sceen being scratched, mine was the same there's a protected film on it, just remove the film & it will look new. Great website this i got my Humax Foxsat HDR box in february.

Received mine and installed yesterday. Very pleased with it, BBC HD looks excellent and clear. Quick question - is 'Dave' not on Freesat? Missing my old top gear repeats! Picking up lots of other channels though

Have new Humax Foxsat HDR connected to LG 50" HD ready TV, BBC HD appears just the same as all normal channels, am I doing something wrong?

If I buy a Humax Foxstat HD recever will I be able to record programmes with my existing Humax PVR-9200T in SD or HD ?

This was an extremely useful service, we just bought our box last week and am enjoying using it a great deal.

I have a Foxsat connected to an LG50 plasma. BBC HD shows a lot of extra resolution (look at skin & hair) Maybe you are using the SD output from it's SCART or component output? You MUST use the HDMI output and setup the Foxsat box correctly. Press info on the LG TV - it should say 1080i - if it doesn't you have got something wrong. Be sure you're sitting approx 5 times the picture height away... and (not joking) if you can't see the difference it's possible your vision isn't as good as it needs to be.
