I hope mine gets shipped, I ordered on Monday 12th January, when the website quoted 7 days.
I was extremely excited when I got the alert through and I saw it was maplin!
Let's hope they don't muck it up now.

We pre-ordered from Maplin on 13th January, I too got excited by the alert! Just called them and they said they have had 40 in, another 300 are due.

Our order is expected to be allocated from the 21st or 23rd January deliveries. Not sure why it says in stock, look like they are all allocated.

If 300 units is true then this isn't even going to touch the sides. These won't last long!

Oh well they have all gone now.
I suppose I will have to wait another couple of hours to see if mine was one they shipped. As the Despatch Confirmations probably won't be out yet.

I ordered mine on 7th Jan from maplin and have just been told the same as Suzanne. I wasn't impressed I have to admit :(

I ordered mine on the 4th Jan and have been told the same as Suzanna and Tone. Can't say I'm impressed really. I'd be interested to hear if Roger gets his next week. I would have thought Maplin would fulfil all the backorders (as we do where I work) before putting anything back "on the shelf"!!

A colleague of mine managed to order one from Maplin today and has an email confirming the order has been despatched... If this is true then Maplin are playing games. They're taking the pre-orders as done deals thinking we're happy to wait a little longer yet still processing new orders. Stinks frankly...

I ordered mine from Maplins as well 11 days ago & i have still heard nothing !
So i think they are at it with the pre-order offer.

If what Simon says is true, then it sucks. Surely the people who ordered first take priority. First come, first served etc. What's the point of pre-ordering?
